Set up a TootyToot account

We only ask for the basics needed for community coordination. TootyToot does not currently claim formal ID checks or formal transport vetting.

After creating a local account you can add an authenticator app in your settings for stronger sign-in protection.

Important before you use TootyToot

TootyToot helps members share trusted local updates, ask neighbours for help, and coordinate informal lifts within private communities.

It is a community platform rather than a public social network, taxi service, or private hire service. Members arrange things directly with each other and remain responsible for their own decisions.

If you may offer lifts

For community posts, notices, and neighbourly help, TootyToot is simply a place for members to share information and coordinate directly.

If you offer lifts, you are responsible for checking that your motor insurance covers this type of informal lift sharing or cost sharing. TootyToot does not provide motor insurance unless explicitly stated elsewhere, and lifts should never be offered for profit.
